Previously, Castiron was only able to accept payment for orders via credit card.
However, today your customers can pay their invoices with any payment method of their choosing!
Here’s how:
- Send your quotes & invoices as normal through Castiron. This will keep all of your customer’s request details and all of your order information still in one place. It’s crucial that you have a completely accurate system of record to work off of. No Venmo, CashApp, or PayPal can replace that.
- If your customer requests to pay in a different method, say “Yes!”.
- Once you receive payment, navigate to your “Quotes & Invoices” tab and select the quote that was just paid outside of Castiron.
- From there, select the "Actions button in the upper right-hand corner, and choose "Mark as Paid"
- Fill out the corresponding information to keep things clean and updated.
- Choose to send a payment confirmation email through Castiron, if you'd like. Then press "update!" Your invoice is now paid in full in Castiron.
Other questions:
- “But what about my instant check-out products?”
- We’re working on it! Stay tuned, friends. For now, instant check-out products must be paid for via credit card on your Castiron site.
- “Do you integrate with Venmo, Paypal, etc.?”
- Nope! There’s no integration today. But, by marking your orders as “paid” and filling out the corresponding information accurately, it still gets the job done.
Tips & Tricks:
- If most of your clientele prefers paying in another method, consider adding a note on your “About” page or in your customer order form.
- If you prefer to accept other payment methods, consider adding a field in your customer order form asking about your customer’s preferred method of payment. This could save you time going forward!
