Sharing Products and Coupon Codes on Social Media

With just a few clicks, you can create and share social media posts to promote your store's latest products and coupons. Both features are aimed at driving your social audience to your storefront to make a purchase, which helps you work less and sell more!

To start, you need to be logged in to your Castiron Admin.

Sharing Products on Social

1. Navigate to the Marketing tab on the left side admin panel and then click Social.
2. Under Share one of your newest products you will see your products listed and pre-written social media posts.
3. Click the logo of the social media platform you'd like to share on (Note: Instagram posts can only be shared from a mobile device).
4. You will be routed to your profile in the social platform and the post's pre-written text will be automatically copied to your clipboard.
5. Paste the post text into your posts description and publish to your followers. If you'd like to make edits or additions to the post text, you can do so prior to publishing, directly on the social media platform you're posting on. 

Sharing Coupons on Social

1. Navigate to the Marketing tab on the left side admin panel and then click Social and scroll down.
2. Under Share a coupon you will see your active coupons along with pre-written social media posts.
3. Click the logo of the social media platform on which you'd like to share the coupon.
4. You will be taken to that social media site, where a new post will be drafted for you, and the post's recommended text will be automatically copied to your clipboard.
5. Paste the post text into your posts description and publish to your followers (and feel free to edit the text as you'd like).

Note: This list of coupons will be populated by the active coupons in your store (admin.castiron.me/store/coupons)

Social Media Considerations

• Facebook allows you to post to a number of places — your News Feed, Story, Group, a Page You Manage (your business' site), etc. You'll need to decide the right avenue to share to reach your audience. In most cases, you'll probably want to start by publishing to a page you manage (your business' page). 
• Instagram sharing is not yet possible using desktop. Visit the Marketing and then Social page on your mobile browser to share a post directly to Instagram.
