When you set up your Castiron shop, you will enter your address and phone number in business details and during your initial Stripe connection.
Your full business address and phone number will not appear on your shop site unless you specifically add them. What will show, is your town and state on your home page to help customers know where you are based out of and if you are local to them.
Where your Contact Information is Found (and can be changed)
Business Address and Phone in Castiron
From Settings>Business Details you will set your service area--which zip codes, neighborhoods, towns you service (for pick up and/or delivery). This will provide clarity for customers to know if they are within the service area of your business. This helps prevent customers from ordering from the wrong business or from a business not even close to them! If people are looking for products on the Castiron Marketplace, they will be directed towards businesses in their area.
If you scroll down to the bottom of the Business Details page, your contact information will be added. Again, your phone number and exact address will not be shown to people visiting your page.
If you change the town/state of your Business Details address, this location will be reflected on your home page.
Business Address and Phone in Stripe
When you connect to your Stripe Express account during shop set up, part of the process is adding your contact information for your subscription and payouts.
To change your business address in Stripe:
Settings tab>Payments page>Payouts tab at the top.
Click on View Payout Details. This will connect you to your Stripe Express account.
Once in your Stripe Account, click on Profile tab on bottom left. There are multiple sections you can view and Edit. Business Details is where you can change your business address. Phone number is listed in Public, but this will not be shown on your page. This is the phone number Stripe has on file for you in the event they need to reach you.
Address for Pick Up Orders
If you do want your customers to see your address and phone number for order pick up, you'll include this information in Fulfillments when you set up your pick up options.
You can also add your full address and phone number in your "About Me" section if you want customers to have access to that information at all times.
