When reviewing your orders page, you may find there are order numbers missing from the list, even when you sort them in order. There are a couple of reasons why they may appear to be "missing".
- If a customer attempts to check out, but payment fails that order number is considered failed and will not show up in your active order list. When the customer goes back and resubmits the order (assuming they resolve the payment issue), it will show a new, consecutive order number.Ex: Nancy tries to check out but she accidentally used an expired card number. What would have been order #1234 fails. She realizes her mistake and puts in the updated card number. At checkout, she has successfully placed order #1235. You will never see #1234 on your orders page.
- Partially paid orders, where a deposit is made but the balance isn't paid yet, wont show up on Open orders until the balance is paid. So if you filter for Open orders only these order numbers wont show. But they will still appear on on your Orders page.

- There may be a bug. If none of these scenarios might explain why you have missing orders, reach out to Castiron support at help@castiron.me and share the order #s (and customer names/emails, if possible) you are concerned about and we can dig deeper.
