Customer/recipient addresses are auto populated by google. This helps prevent incorrect addresses from being added (which is especially important for shipping/delivery). Sometimes customers and sellers have difficulty adding an address to an order.
- Addresses cannot be copy & pasted into the address box. This overrides the address generator and causes an error. This is usually what is happening if the address cant be saved.
- The best way to enter an address is to start typing it in. You'll see a drop down of options to choose from. Pick one of the generated addresses.
- Double check that you picked the correct one, especially if there are multiple units (you can type the correct one in Address Line 2). It's easy to click on the wrong one.
- If the desired address isn't generating in the box you may have to double check with the person at that address. They usually know when their physical address generates differently in google or a GPS "I live in X town, but it might actually show as X and that works, too."
When you click on an address from the drop down options, you can click Next to move on to payment:
If you copy and paste an address, you cannot move on to payment.
